THE ELECTIONS
OFFICIAL RECOUNT FIGURES FOR HOSPITAL BOARD AND HARBOUR BOARD 'The official recount figures for tho Hospital Board and Harbour’ Board elections have been announced by the chief returning officer (Mr. James Ames). As a result of the recount, many of th» totals arrived at in the first count have had to be altered, though the names of the candidates elected remain the same. Among the members elected to the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, Mr. F. Castle has gone up from third place to second, boating Mr. C. M. Luke; Mr. G. J. Petherick has gone into ihe seventh place, which was formerly occupied by Mr. E. Vine. The runner-up io Mr. J. Glover, who stands last on the elected list, was at first Mr. A. L. Monteith, but the latter now cedes tlje position to Mr, J. M'Kenzie. No change has taken place in the relative positions of the candidates for tho Harbour Board.
