MAGISTRATE’S COURT
The police capture of inebriates was larger than usual last week-end, and comprised 13 first offenders, and five others with records. Their names weie called in the Magistrate’s Court yesteiday morning, when Mr. H W . Bund e, S.M., dealt with the cases. Allan M 1 hee : with four previous convictions, was tinea SOs., with the alternative of three days imprisonment, and John Gould, with a similar number of previous convictions, was fined 50s. On a second charge ™ committing a breach of h>s P rohlb '* , ° n order be was jonvicted and discharged. James Wright'and Thomas Mein. <-ach with two previous convictions, wete fined 20,. each, and James Wallace with one previous conviction, was fined 10s.
