IMMIGRATION OF ALIENS
AMERICAN RESTRICTION BILL. (Reo. April 23, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, April 23. The House of Representatives passed the Immigration Bill limiting the entry of aliens into tho United States to 3 pei cent of each nationality resident in the United States in 1910. The measure will be effective for fourteen months from the date of the passage by the Senate, where it will now go.—Aue.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
