YACHTING

THE MILLS CUP. The biggest yachting event of the season, the Mills Cup race, will take place next Saturday. All the big yachts have entered. Some of them are on the slips being cleaned <ind generally tuned up for the occasion. The cup will be on the windows of Messrs. Duncan and Milltosh. Manners Street, during the next, few days. It is a splendid piece of silver valued at over 100 guineas, and was left, to the Port Nichotoon Yacht Club for t racing within the harbour by the will of the late Mr. E. C. E. Mills, who was at one tune commodore of the club. The cup may be held outright by the same yacht winning the race for it three years in succession or five years at Intervals.
