CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA AT PICTON.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Blenheim, February 17. The championship regatta at Picton was continued this morning in dull weather. Additional results are as follow:— Champion Pairs—Christchurch Union, 1; Wanganui Union, 2; Wairau, 3. The race was a chapter of mishaps from start to finish—collisions and foulings. Finally Christchurch Union fouled a buoy at Judge’s and Wairau touched ground at the baths. Also started: Hamilton and Picton. Time. 9m.in. 12 2-ssec. Champion Double Sdujls.—Wanganui Union, 1; Christchurch Union, 2; Hamilton, 3. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, 9min. 7 2-ssec. Marlborough Plate. —A ramoho, 1 ; Blenheim, 2; West End No 2, 3. Also started: Wanganui Union, Vest End No. 1 and Wairau. A great race. Won by one and a third lengths. Time, 9mm. 40sec.
