PRAYER BOOK REVISION

BELIEFS OF CANDIDATES FOR

DIACONATE. London, February 12. The sanction of Parliament is necessary 'to legalise the changes in the Prayer Book suggested by tho Canterbury Convocation. Clerics regard as the most important alteration that candidates for the diaconate in future are not to be asked if they believe the subsla'ntial infallibility of all books of the Old and New Testaments, but aro to be asked if they believe that these, contain all things necessary for salvation and spiritual health.-Aus.-N.Z.
