In honour of Nelson Day a special Navy League demonstration will take place in the Town Hall, on Thursday next at 8 p.m. It will take th!? form of a Navy Lcaguo children's welcome to Admiral of the Fleet Viscount Jellicon and Lady Jellicoe. His Excellency will address the children, who will be representative of the Navy League school members in the public and private schools of Wellington. His.Worship tho Mayor ••will welcome Their Excellcnc'ira on behalf of the leaguo, and Mr. Edward Newman, M.P., will speak on tine Roynl Navy and mercantile marine. The Prince's Choir of 1100 voices, under the baton ofoMr. Robert Parker, will sing »ix patriotic songs, including "Rule Britannia," "The Death of Nelson," "The Gentlemen of England," "The Golden Vanity," and "We be Thren Poor Mariners.'' Admission to tho hall will be fres, and patrons are advised to attend early because a large gathering is expected. At noon ou Thursday the members of tho executive of the Navy League will present the photographs of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales to Wellington College members of th'.j leaguo.
