CHEESE FACTORIES
j SEASON'S OUTPUTS CONSIGNED. By Telegraph—Props Association. Dunedin, October 8. Adv.loe has been received by' Mr. B. G. Jjamb, secretary of the South Island Dairy Association, that. 11 of the factories in the Wellington district and one in Taranaki (with an output of 500 tons) haro so far decided to' consign their outputs of cheese to the Mew Zealand. Producers' Co-operative Association. Tho factories are: Belvedere, Parkvale, Carrington, Tauatohi, Papatawa, Tarawa, Homelands, Riverbank, United, Nowinnn, Kuku, and Tariki. As showing tho monoy value of the businoss of those factories alone, credits with tho Bank of New Zealand amounting to a minimum, of i!37,000'a month have now been established. A considerable number of factories in tho North Island liavo not yet come to a decision whether they will consign to tho Now Zealand Co-operative Producers' Association or Bell outright. Mr. Lamb says that 6o far. as the South Island is concerned, ho will bo able to consign approximately 4000 tons this season to tho Producers'. Association, and thoro is a possibility that this amount will be increased. Letters of credit have been established with Dunedin banks to met the pnymnts on this 4000 tons.
