Sir Robert Borden, prior to hi's resignation of the Premiership, indicated in a publio address that he thought the time was inopportune to' hold the. conference, because numerous other matters of Dominion interest wero demanding attention. It is generally known that Sir Robert Borden's Cabinet concurred in that? attitude. A]g tlhe majority of the present Cabinet were Members'of the Borden Ministry, it is bolieved that Mr. Meighen's Ministers do not favour a conference till 1922 — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
