FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications ore for moderate to iti'one south-easterly to BOuthorly winds, squally at times in aiid northward of Cook Strait. Oold, changeable, and nhowery conditions expected in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island, and fair to cloudy weather elsewhere. Barometer little movement, with a falline tendency in the far north. The weather liae been c£ld and showery alonsr the east coast between East Cape and Cape Campbell, but fair generally elsewhere. Moderate to strong southeasterly winds havo ruled in the North Island, and southerly breezes in the south, and the barometer has continued high with relatively low presraro northward of the Dominion, B.
