The Women's National Reserve sick nursing classes have been greatly appreciated in the country districts, where doctors and nurses are very scarce. The object of these classes is to help to equip women anil girls to meet sickness in their own homes should it overtake them. The knowledge gained has proved a great boon to many, and (hero are numerous inquiries about the classes just being formed by the reserve in connection with the Public Health Department. Largo numbers attended last year, and many are very anxious for a refresher course. The reserve arranges to work tho country districts during the summer months and tho city during tho winter. Fivo hundred hnvo been reached through Sister West's last itinerary. The Foilding branch of the reserve organised for this work, and lectures wero held in tho following places: Wnituna, Kimbolton, Foildirig, Apiti, Sanson, Cheltenham, Kiwitea, Colyton, Rongotea, Rangiwahia, and Bulls.
