ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
; « The Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association met last evening. Present: Messrs. W. Auld (chair), R, Hendry, P. Sutherland, C. Webster, P. O'Driscoll, A. K Wells, E. Ryan, W. Duncan, H. Godbcr, and A, Williams (secretary). Various matters in connection yith schools football were discussed, and it was decided to write to the N.Z.P.A., pointing out that Otago, Canterbury, and Auckland had already written to the Wellington Association asking for visits, and asking the N.Z.P.A. to arrange for a tournament to be held ill Chris!cmiroli this season. A long discussion toolc place on the question of grounds, and the subcommittee reported that several suggestions would be brought forward for discussion next week. SCHOOL FIXTURES. School fixtures, grounds, and referees for Friday, at 3.30 p.m., are:— A Division—lsland Bay v. Marist (N.) A, Newtown Park, A. E. Wells; Marist (T.) A v. Marist (T.) B, at Anderson Park, Bro. Donatus. B Division—Newtown v. Northland, at'Duppa Street. W. Mann; South Wellington A v. Wadestown, at Duppa Street, W. Sampson; South Wellington (B) v. Worser Bay, at Eiibirnie, B. Ryan; Marist (T.) C v. Marist (W.) B, at Kelburn, W. Arthur.
