— -, * REICHSTAG'S THANKS FOR HELP FROM ABROAD. Berlin, July i. During a debate in the Reichstag' on the emergency Budget, which includes provision for a Government contribution of 13,000 million marks towards the cost of distributing gifts from abroad, tho President of the Reichtstag. Herr Locbe, in the name of all the Parties, expressed most cordial thanks for the magnanimous assistance given' to German children by the Society of Friends in England and America, philanthropists in Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland, and other countries, and Germans in America Hi added, "the German nation will never forgot the affection bestowed on its children." Loud cheers were given from all parts of the v House.—Reuter.
