CONSIDERABLE LOSSES OF STOCK. (Rec. July 4, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney,, July 4. The rain has practically ceased. The latest reports show that the floods are subsiding, though large areas are still under water. Some townships are isolated by flood waters and railway outs. Many residents on low-lyLng : ground along the rivers have been compelled to leave their houses. Some had. exciting experiences. The damage is heavy in many, districts, including much stock, which has been either drowned or has perished through cold—Press Asßn.
