Twenty masked men barricaded the road and stepped tho Cavan motor mail. They chloroformed the drivers, stole tho mails, and left the drivers unconscious on the roadside. Two masked men hei'.d an the psy office of tho Great Northern Railway at Belfast with revolvers during the'afternoon and stole JClooo.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SLIGO GAOL RAIDED. (Rec. June 27, 11.50 p.m.) London,' June 26. Armed men raided Sligo gaol at midnight, and roleased a prisoner awaiting trial for stealing arms. CONSTERNATION AT BANTRV SEVERE RETALIATION -VGAINST SINN FEINERS. London, Juno 25. Severe rofcai'.iation was taken against the Sinn Feinors at Biintry. A disguised party at two o'clock in the morning shot dcn<l a. prominent Sinn Feiner, aged twenty, who was asleep in his father's house. Simultaneously the party set fivo to another Sinn Feiner's shop and Louse, using bombs and petrol, and convpi'.efcly destroyed them. In four other similar mids two bouses, were gutted.
