TEEMS OF MR. HALL'S APPOINT- • MENT. (Iteo. Juno 25, 5.5 p.m.) London, Juno 24. _ Referring to the statements of Mr. J. Storey (New South Wales Premier), Mr. D. R. Hall has replied that he was appointed Agent-General at the samo salary and allowances as his 'predeeesBor. It was untrue thflfc .£BSO sterling was sent to London, in addition to fares and expenses. Mr. Hall received JJBSO with which bo paid his oxpenses, and returned a balance of ,£29. Mr. Hall will return to Australia at Christmas — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
