CHARGE OP PROFITEERING . » A NEW YORK'PROSECUTION. New York June 21. Federal agonts liavo arrested Frederick Gimbel, head of great departmont stores, on a chargo of profiteering. It is announced that this is only tho beginning of extensive prosecutions. It is alleged that Gimbel's stores sold a mohair suit oosting 5 dollars 50 cents, for 20 dollars, a suit costing 30 dollars for 75 dollars, and anothor costing 15 dollars for 43 dollars 75 cents. Gimbel is held in bail of a thousand dollars for the hearing of the charge in July.— Cable Assn.
