NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW

"•■;".■■ OPENING DAY :. BUTTER AND CHEESE CLASSES JUDGED By Telegraph-Special Beporter. Palmarston North, June 21. Tho eighteenth annual national dairy »how which opens, at PaUuerston North to-morrow should prove a mosb interesting fixture to Uhoso interested in agricultural and dairying pursuits, and given fine weather is expected to attract; a large attendance. The entries' received number 3053 as against 2834 at the previous show, the increases'being principally in stud oattle, ,-farm products, home industries eid : photographyi the latter having risen .'from 33 to 169, while the ring'competitions.have gone up from 91 to 121.
