LEGAL TENDER VALUE OP ' SOVEREIGN. Simla, June 20. The Government announces removal of the restrictions on gold bullion and foreign coin from Juno SO. It undertakes to bring down legislation altering tlio legal tender value of the sovereign from 15 to 10 rupees. Pending the alteration the Government wit'.l issue an ordinance demonetising the sovereign, but it is to continue to bo received at 15 rupees for a poriod of 21 days—Aug.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
