ATTEMPT TO MAR PRINCE'S VISIT
BOLSHEVIKS FOMENTING
TROUBLES

Simla, June 19. There are indications that the Extremists intend to attempt to mar the Prince's visit to India. For example, it is suggested that the Mohammedan candidates for the new Indian Councils should bind themselves not to take the oath of allegiance, and should stand a'loof when the Prince opens the council, unless the Turkish Treaty is modified, in accordance with their views. Another threat it embodied in a telegram sent to the India Office on behalf of the India Home Rule League. It states that the peoplo are not likely to co-operate in welcoming the Prince, unless the miscarriage of justice in the Punjab is remedied, and other wrongs righted. There is also proof that the Bolsheviks continue their plotting, with a view to creating tribal troubles on the Indian frontier; and they are financing Revohitionaries, who are endeavouring to foment an insurrection throughout India. -"The Times."
