"SLEEPING BEAUTY" PANTOMINE

Very spirited advance booking is anticipated on Monday at tho Bristol for the first six nights of the J. C. Williamson "Steeping Beauty" pantomime, to bo 6een here next Wednesday. The Williamson directors, with a prescience born of vast experience, have splendidly blended the beautiful with the humorous. It is claimed for the "Sleeping Beauty" that it lias more fun to the square inch than any production of the kind for years. This comes (largely from the efforts of The Brothers Egbert, who come with a.fine reputation as the most humorous of aorobats. Then there is Mr. Marriott Edgar, said to be the lioau ideal of entertaining "Dames,", irrepressible in Myle and dry of humour. Comedian George Welch is credited T-ith a big success as "King- Poinpos" while Messrs. Herbert Leigh (tho Prime Minister) ond Ptanley Odgers (Solicitor General) have important parts. Of the ladies, Miss Winifred Eoma, an English actress of high reputation, will be seen te /Th« Prince,'' with Miss Eve Lynn, a distinguished American comedienne, as the Princess. Both these ladies are said to be singers quite above tdio ordinary in pantomime. In Miss Peggy Doran will probably be found a character artist of talent and versatility. Sure of a varin welcomo is Miss Maggie Dickenson-whoso clever dancing will be well remembered. Sho will be partnered by Mr. Sidney Yates in many beautiful ballets. Others prominent in a long cast are: Misses Dorothy Hastings, MarMret Putcliffe, Maudie Andrews, Edna M'Call, Dorothy Seacombe, May Harris, Margot Lester, Mione Stewart.
