ALLEGED SHEEP-STEALING Fy Telegraph—Proas Association. New Plymouth, June 17. In the Magistrate's Court to-day, George l'ayne, farmer, of Okau, North Taranaki, was committed for trial on a charge of having stolen 19 sheep, valued at «£32 Is., Iho property of a neighbour. It was alleged that accused had cut off the earmarks' from the sheep, but on some of them were left evidences of identification.
