HARRIERS
THE OLYMPIC CLUB.' .- The Olympic Harrierß held their run on Saturday at Seatoun. The courao led through the Seatoun Tunnel alone tho road into Miramar. Thence over the hill into Karaka Bay, and back round the road to Seatoun. The run-in resulted as foUowe:-?- T. Beales, 1; A. E. Clayton, 2; If. B. Carwell-Cooke, i. At the close of tho run, Mr. P. Hodson club handicapor entertained members and their friendu at afternoon tea. Here Mr. Kerr (Wellington Harriers) said that he, with* others was trying to get the Wellington Harriers started again, and that he hoped Boon to be able to do ao. J Mr. Philp (preßido'nt), on behalf of the club, thanked the friends of the harriers for attending during the afternoon, ; BROOKLYN CLTTB The Brooklyn Harrier' and A. A. Olnb held their weekly run from Newtown Park on Saturday. The paper wan in' charge of •D. Todd and J. Tidey, who laid an excellent'trail, Leaving tho Park the trail led over tho hill .towards Island Bay, and the pack, numbering ■27 .runners, had some, ideal cross-country running. At Duppa Street Reserve the paper led ncross the golf links, and hore a turn waß made for home, passing through eomo very boggy ground. When the Park was reached a halt was made for the runin of 150 yards, a surprise being effected by new season runners, who filled the firßt four places. Result: P. L. Butland. 1- W Hartßtonge, 2; H. Billing and W. March-' mant (dead heat), J. Tho run on Saturday next will bo at Karori, when entries will close for the novice handicap of two miles and a half,
