The New Zealand Swimming "Championship Mooting opened yesterday afternoon, and was continued in tho evening before a. large attendance. The chief results are:— 100 yds. Junior Boys' New Zealand Championship—Final: A. Baird (Auckland), 1; R. Bailley (Auckland). 2; O. Iv. Claridge (Wellington), 3. Dalton (Canterbury) was leading from Baird' over the last lap, whan he appeared to swim across Baird, who stopped and wnded out. Dalton won by a length and a half from Bailley, but was disqualified on a foul, and the race was awarded to Baird. Tho Canterbury manager entered a protest. •50yds. Junior Girls' N.Z. Championship.—Final: Miss E. Walrond (Auckland), 1; Miss M. Cameron (Hawke's Bay), 2; Mi?s E. Rowe (Auckland). 3. Won by three-quarters of a length, three lengths bstwefa sccond and third. Time, 35sec. 220 yds. Breast-stroke Championship of N.Z.—Final: C. '.Atkinson (Canterbury), 1; J. Deem (Wanganui), 2: C. G. Burro! t • (Canterbury). 3. Atkinson led throughout, winning by ten yards, Barrett being the same distance away from Deem. Time, 3min. 9 Ono Mile Charmiionshio.—L. Hill (Canterbury), 1; Leo Kronfeld (Auckland), 2; G. R.
