ENGINEERS' STRIKE
$ FURTHER CONFERENCE SUGGESTED. Sydney, February 14. Tho unions affected by the marine engineers' strike will send a deputation to Mr. W. M. Hughes (Commonwealth Premier) with the object of arranging a further conference between the shipowners and the strikers. A suggestion from Melbourne that General Monash should adjudicate on the strikers' claims is well received by the men.—Press Assn.
