CONFIDENCE OF INVESTORS SHAKEN. (Rcc. February 15. 13.5 p.m.) London. February 18. A meeting of representatives of fifteen Anglo-Australian banks, financial and pastoral companies sent a potest to Sir. C. G. Theodore, Premier of Queensland, against his Land Act Amendment Bill, which they are of opinion tends to destroy the confidence of British investors in tho good faith of the Queensland Government.— ius.-N.Z.
