From noon yesterday, to noon to-day thirty notifications iof influenza, all of the mild type, were niado to the Christchurch' Hospital .authorities. There were six admissions to hospital in the same period. ' At nresent there ars 20 influenza pati. ents in hosDital, 10 being mild ! cases and 10 pneumonic. The majority of these cases are concerned with relapses duo to the sufferers leaving their beds too soon, or to some form of neglect necessitating removal of tie patients to the hospital for treatment. The hos-. Dital officials regard the position as quit* satisfactory, and their impression is that the em'demio is on the wane.
