By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. , Palmerston N., February 10. ,i The question of permitting any doctors in tho district to visit patients in the- ; Palmerston Hospital has been under dis- \ ; Mission for some time. At to-day's meeting of the Kairanga County Council, tho chairman (Mr. J. Linklater)' mentioned the question, and pointed out that as tho council was a vwy largo contributor to the hospital funds, it should havo some ear. On his motion, the following resolution was carried: "That the Hospital Board bo asked to allow all patients receiving treatment in the public hospital, if they so desire, to be attended by the medical '* men who treated them prior to their en- ■] twin? the institution."
