Tim shortage of cement is likely to interfere with the completion of the Jlotueka and Riwaka bridges, according to a report made to a meeting of llio County Council. It was stated that local bodies wore placed by llio Board of Trade fourth or Inst in order of pre- ' fcrenco. Councillors pointed out that it was essential that main ronds should be kept open, and if necessary tho Board of l'rado should have pointed out to it tho urgency of tho bridges being completed at un early date. A committee was appointed to watch the .position.
