PICNICS AT PETONE

Tho annual picnic of the Petone Baptist Sundav School was held at Mason's Gardens. Taita, yesterday. Mr. Lambourne's Class: Leonard Lambouriio, 1; Alan Milford.. 2. Mi. Hoddiiiott's Class: Howard Hoskins, 1; Herbert Cashmore. 2: Arthur Kent, 3. Young Women's Bible Class; Marjory Busing, 1; Ailsa Xicol, 2; Elhel Nicol, 3. There wero about 150 people present at lhe combined picnic of tile Petone and Hutt Churches of Christ held in the Koro Koro Valley. Games and races, etc.. were, engaged in, and a most enjoyable day was spent. During the afternoon an interesting and instructive lecture on lhe home-life nnd customs of the African native was given by a Church of Christ missionary who had recently returned from South Africa.
