Tho Addington Market salo to-day being ,a double ono in view of Christmas was marked by verj- heavy entries, purticularly of fat shtep and iambs, there being ten races of sheep, compared with seven at tho previous salt, and 3lfc!; lambs as against 1210. 'L'ho salo lasted until nearly 10 P.m. Tliero vas a large entry of shorn sheep with a spiritless sale, which, however, improved as it progressed. Backward lines were hard to quit. Ordinary two-tooth wethors, 10s. 7(1. to 225. Gd.; good two-tooth welhers,. L'Jis. 3d., 295. M.; two, four, and eiitooth wethers, 205., ,30s. Gd.; four,'six, and eight-tooth withers, i"»., 30s. 3d.; ordinary two-tootJi ewes, 20s. 3d., 235. lid.; good two-tooth ewes, 255., 295. 3d.; soundliuiuth -H-oolly ewes, 375.; sound and fail-■iiijj-mouth ewes and lambs, l?s. 'J'ho fat lamb salo opened, in spite ct tho large entry, at rates nearly ai a par with the preceding sale, but as butchers' requirements were met the demand eased very markedly, prime sorts showing a declino of about 3s. per head, and medium "is. on tho preceding snlo. Extra prime fat lambs to 375. 9d.; prime, 2'Js. Pd., 31s. Gd.; medium, 2is. 7(1., 295. 6d.; lighter, Us. Gd., 235. Gd. Pat sheep were in over supply, and prices dropped iibout ss. jer hesui, a big proportion being passed. Extra primo welhprs, to -lSs.; prime wethers, 355. Gd., 415.; in wool, -12s. (kl.; medium, 30s. 10d., 31s. 6d.; lighter, 215., 2!)s. Gd.; primo woolly ewes, 48s. 9d.; shorn, 3Ss.; medium, 205., 333.; lighter, 'I'M. fid.; prime hoggets, to 30s. The fat cattlo yarded totalled 501, an over supply that caused an easing in prices of lrom -M) 3. to iOi. per head. There was a good entry of storo cattle, which generally met with n dragging sale, good bullocks only selling freely Dairy cows: Good cows wero in request, and mado up to ,£ls; vealors were.in over supply, and (hero nas a roor sale, liunners made up to JCS J2s. Gd.; and good vealers, 355. to 555.; fair, 15s. to 30s. Thorp was a small entry of fat pigs mid ii firm demand. Choppers, to £U; heavy bnconers, JH{ to £'J 95.; medium, £6 55., 0,7 155.; lighter, IT> 55., A's 15s. (avcrago price, per lb., lid., HJd.). Storo pigs: A medium entry and strong demand.
