WANGANUI AND WELLINGTON COLLEGE MATCH. Wanganui, December 15. Tho inter-collegiato cricket match between Wanganui and Wellington Colleges comnumced to-day in bright weather on a good wicket. Wanganui batted first, and were dismissed for IdS runs, S. Gilmer (23) being the highest scorer. Barclay was the best of the visting bowlers. Wellington replied with' 138 runs for nine wickets, Barclay playing a good innings of G3. Tho glome will be continued to-niorrowv Wanganui, December 16. The match was concluded to-day, and ended in a win for Wellington by two wickets. Wellington's first innings closed for 173 (M'Phoo ii).
