NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Prosa Association. 'Christchurch, December 15. At n meeting of the Management Committee of the Now Zealand Cricket Council it was decided to do nothing' further in tho matter of arranging for a visit from an Australian team this summor. Tho question of reviving the interisland match, was brought up, and it was docided to obtain the opinion of tho six major associations on tho subject. It was agreed to commuhicato with the Australian Board of Control on thsi question of arranging a fixed prog.rammo ol visi.ts between Australia and New Zealand.

WANGANUI AND WELLINGTON COLLEGE MATCH. Wanganui, December 15. Tho inter-collegiato cricket match between Wanganui and Wellington Colleges comnumced to-day in bright weather on a good wicket. Wanganui batted first, and were dismissed for IdS runs, S. Gilmer (23) being the highest scorer. Barclay was the best of the visting bowlers. Wellington replied with' 138 runs for nine wickets, Barclay playing a good innings of G3. Tho glome will be continued to-niorrowv Wanganui, December 16. The match was concluded to-day, and ended in a win for Wellington by two wickets. Wellington's first innings closed for 173 (M'Phoo ii). Wanganui made 154 in their second innings (Bonnor 31), and Wellington knocked up the 130 runs required to win with tho loss of eight wickets. Barclay made 31 runs and MThee 32. 'MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEET. Tho Management Committee of tho Wellington Crjoket Association, mot last evening. Mr.C. G. Wilson presided. The Wairarapa Association notified that they would bo unable to send a team to Wellington at Christmas time. Tho Boys' League was f*rantwd use of tho Basin Reserve for their match with Canterbury on January 1 and 2. Mr.C. G. Wilson was appointed manager of tho representative team which is to go south next week. Fixtures for Saturday will stand as drawn for last Saturday. Johnsonvillo third class drew with Mnrist Bros. Johnsonville declnred at 188 for eight wickets (A. Moore JC not out, M'Wliitmoy 30, J. Moore 26, Myers 19, L.
