Th New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having conducted a clearing salo of dairy etock on account of Mr. T. H. Edwards at the farm, To Horo, on Friday. There was a good attendance of buyers present, and satisfactory prices were obtained. They quote Best cows, £2(1 to £25' 10s. j medium do., £14 to £18 10s.; aged and weedy sorts, £7 ss. to £11 10s.; autumn calvers, £14 10s. to £15 10s.; two-year pedigree Jersey bull, 2lgns. On account outside vendors: Heifers iu milk, £7 to £11; aged store cows, £5 10s. The New Zealand Loan and Miycantilo Agency Company, Ltd., Hawera. branch, report for the week ended December 15:— At. Kakaramea on Monday there was a large yarding of cattle, which met with a ready salo. Prices ranged as follow:— Kloro pigE, £3 11a.; large weaner pigs, 355. to 385.; sows, £9 lis.; fat cows, to £15 125.; storo cows, £8 Is. to £10 10s.; light utoro cows, £4 10s. to £6 10s.; bulls, £4 to £12: fifteen-month heifers, £6 14s. On Wednesday, at Kltham, the advertised sheep and battle name forward, and prices wore on a par with late sales. We quote: Woolly hoggets, 265. 9d. 1.0 28s. fid.; empty owes, 235. 4a.; broken-mouth ewes, Its. 6d.; weaner pigs, ,225. to £2 Is.; gelding, £25 10s.; fat cows, £12 Us. to £13; forward cows, £10 9s. to £11 10s.; store cows, £7 10s. to £9 175.; light store cows, £5 15s. to £!: 'dairy heifers, i:8 to £10; dairy cow, £13 10s. On Thursday, at. Hawera, wo renort having a large yarding of cattlo, when practically a total clearance was effected under the hammer. Store forward and fat cows met with especially keen demand. We quote:-Storo pigß, £3 3s. to £3 lis.; weaner pigs, 31s. to 365.; wethers, four and, six-tooth, shorn, 175.; fat pbws, £12 9s. to £14 135.; forward eows, £10 17s. lid. to £11 155.; store cows, £8 2s. to £10 35.; light store cows, £5 to £6 17s. 6d.; twoyear steers; £8; three-year bullock, £14 155.; dairy cows, £7 to £20; bulls, £5 15s. to £15. The advertised horses on account of Mr. Gregor M'Gregor sold from £8 to £22. At Dannevirke on Decembe'fc-12, wo had a fair yarding, but found cattle hard to quit.
