DRIFTING WAR MINES
TWO REPORTED IN SEA LANES. (Itcc. December 14, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, December 13. The Navv Department has announced thnt two drifting mines have been found —ono at C'ape Flattery, near Ccoktown, and another of)' Dove Island, in Torres Straits. Presumably the mines drifted from the New Zealand and Bass Straits enemv mino lields. Shipping using these waters is warned to keep a sharp dookoui—fress Assn.
