The special inquiry by tho Air Ministry regarding the crash of the Alliance aeroplane (in which LiPutenant-Colonel Donirlas and Lieutenant Ross were killed as they were startinsr on the flight to Australia) is rirocoeding slowly. The committed examined Miss Woolley, and investigated her allegation that, the machine was inadequately tested. Independent evidence which was, produced satisfied the enmmitteo that tli3 machine mnde several flights on the nrevious day with its full equipment. The aggregate flyinjr time was two hours, which was sufficient. The inquiry is now directed towards establishing the full weight carried by the machine.
