NAVAL ACTIVITY BY JAPAN AND AMERICA. Sydney, November 27. Sir .Tosouh Cook (Minister for the Nnvv). referring to the Pacific policy, said that although everything apparentlv was quiet in Australia they could not close, their eyes to the preparations being mado by Japan ami America in furtherance of their Pacific policy. America was building battleships as fast ns thev could be turned out. Japan hart launched the largest battleship in the world, and was building eight others—Press Assn. '
