Mr. L. F. Ayson, Chief Inspector of Fisheries, is due back at Wellington from Svdr.ev on Monday. Mr. Ayson has been visiting Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales on Departmental business. Isitt, who has established a New Zealand altitude record bV rising 21,000 feet in a mililarv aeroplane at Cliristchurch, was recently, appointed to have chargo of tho Defence. Department's aeroplanes at the Sockburn aerodrome. He is a son of Mr. L.'M. Isitt, M.P. Captain Isitt went to the front with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and subsequently secured a commission in the Flying Corps. His ..only brother was killed in action.
