In the Supreme ■ Court Frederick Alexander Jackson was sentenced to twelve months' gaol for the attempted theft of a motor-bicycle. Ah Chung was acquitted on charges of indecent assault and carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen years of age. Charles Robert Bignell, who was found guilty the previous day of supplying noxious things with intent to procure a miscarriage, was sentenced to eighteen months' gaol with hard labour.
