CHRISTCHUKCH SESSIONS. ,ij Telo»rnph—Hrn«f A»«ncl»tio» Christchurch, November 7. In the Supreme ■ Court Frederick Alexander Jackson was sentenced to twelve months' gaol for the attempted theft of a motor-bicycle. Ah Chung was acquitted on charges of indecent assault and carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen years of age. Charles Robert Bignell, who was found guilty the previous day of supplying noxious things with intent to procure a miscarriage, was sentenced to eighteen months' gaol with hard labour.
DUNEDIN SESSIONS. Dunedin, November 7. At the Supreme Court to-day, John Bennett, who pleaded guilty to stealing .£22 from n fellow-fireman on the Bteanier Westmoreland, was ordered to be detained fo'r reformative treatment for a term not exceeding three years. - >
