Mr. A. S. Henderson, who lps boon using the Lower Butt Drill Hall as a skating rink, recently promised to give :i benefit night, and devote (lie proceeds to the trophies: fund of No. .18 Company (Senior Cadets). A carnival was duly organised, and it went off very successfully on Wednesday evening. Captain W. M. Bell (group commander) was present, and thanked Mr. Henderson for his generosity. Captain Bell also complimented the company upon its high state of efficiency. The money derived from the carnival is sufficient to purchase gome attractive musketry prizes.
