A WONDERFUL ESCAPE. By Telegraph—Press Association • Dannevirke, June 4. A miraculous escape from a fatal accident occurred this' morning at Allardice Street crossing, when a motorcar driven by Mrs. Fisher, of Terehunga, collided with a train. Mrs. Fisher was the only occupant of the car, and 6he was thrown to the front part 'of the car, tho cushion, with her on.it, being then caught by the engino's cow-catcher and carried about 100 yards till the tram was pulled up. Mrs. Fisher sustained bruises, and is suffering from shock. The car was smashed to splinters.
