In tho Magistrate's Court to-day Arthur Vincent pleaded guilty to cfiarges of being drunk while driving a horse and cart on Riccarton Road, and driving on tho same road at night without a light. Sub-Inspector Mullaney said that about a week ago the defendant had been fined -I'lO for being in charge of o horse and cart while drunk. The Magistrate (Mr. S. E. M'Carthy): It appears to Sue that you are determined to kill somebody. You aro a menace to the travelling public. You will be sentenced to one month's imprisonment.
