EXPLOSION OP LYDDITE
SIX MEN MISSING. (Rec. Juno 2, 8.10 p.m.) • London, May 21 (delayed). Whilo men were loading shells into a wherry tit the Armstrong Whitworth Works at Newcastle, some Iyddift exploded. The wherry, sank, tho shellshop was nearly wrecked. Six men aro missing, and many are injured. Buildings over a wide area were damaged.— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. (Rec. June 2, .'0.30 p.m.) London, May 21 (delayed). Official.—Thirty-two were injured, but no ono was killed, or is missing—Aui>.N.Z. Cablo Assn. BIG EXPLOSION AT BRUSSELS. (Rec. Juno 3, 1.45 a.m.) London, Juno 1. ■ Twelve persons were killed and 220 injured by nn explosion at a munition works in Brussels. Enormous damage was done!— Router.
