There , is no doubt that in modern times llio; lot of the mother cf little children is. rcallv.a hard one. She is so. anxious, to do all that she possibly can for her chiJdren-thci-r needs are so pressing and so constant—that she really knows no,' rest throughout the wholo of her waking hours.' On every hand one hears that the children arc the nation's.greatest asset;, there is occasionally some small thing' done to relievo the financial strain upon the father of tho "asset," but who ever ■ spares a. thought for tho busy, tired, harassed mother?
