Yesterday evenine at the Methodist Sunday School prize distribution the following scholars were awarded prizes, which were presented bv tho Rev. and Mrs. A. M'Bean:—First, girls: Muriel Ilitchings, Jessie Morris, Marjory M'Ewen, Melva Hart, Dorothy Hay. Second girls: Irma Clark, Dorothy Wra.v, Effio Vincent, Lucy Saunders, Madgo M'Dougall. Third girls: Esme Coker, Lech Mills, Eva Grey, Gwen Bitrd, Mavis Kirk, Marjory Bell. Fourth cirls: Ivy Ileyward, Mercy Steinmuller, Connio Shepherd, Vendla Jacobson, Maisie White, Eva Wooilhead.

The secretary (Mr. R. Kirk) presented his annual report, which showed that there was a considerable increase in the number of scholars, and that the finanefs wero buoyant. Addresses were "iron by the Revs. D. J. Mnrrnv and A. M'B"an. and Mr. !\Mhuish. Choruses were suns by the children and u character sketch was civen hv Mr. Evans, of Lower Hutt. At the close of the meeting refreshments were handed round.
