PICNICS
PETONE WOOLLEN MILL. The annual picnic of the Petono Woollen Mill employees was held at Day's Bay on Saturday last. The weather was ideal,' and a record gathering resulted. The sports programme was in the hands of Messrs. Size and Dewhuret, who kept the oiotrd in high spirits all day. The.results of the various sports events were:— Girls' Race.—N. Walters, I;.V. HAYDON AND LUBRANSKY'S. . A very enjoyable picnic was held on Saturday by tho firm and employees _of Messrs'. Haydon and Lubransky, clothing manufacturers.
