PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNEY. After several unavoidable delays, tho date of the annual Public Service tournaiuontyhas been fixed for next Wednesday, and sixteen Departments liave signified Wieir intention of talcing part. The Thorndon and Wellington greens will be tho battlefields of the tourney. Play will commence at 9 o'clock sharp, and there is every prospect of an enjoyable day's play. The following is the draw: On Thorndon Green—First section: Audit Department, Internal \Affnirs, Lands and Valuation, and Public Works. Seoond section: Railways, Public Trust, Ordnance, and Parliamentary Buildings. On Wellington Green.—Third section: Treasury, Immigration, and Munitions, Education, and Justice: Fourth section: Government Printing Office, Labour, Government. Life Insurance, and Post and Telegraph. The winners of the first section will play tho winners of the second section at the end of tlie afternoon, and the winners of the third section will al?o clay the -winners of the fourth section.
