;' London, January 12. Sir Charles Wyndham, the actor, is dead; aged 82.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ['llio late Sir Charles Wyndliam had been lessee and manager of the Criterion Theatre, London, since 1876. As a young man he fought in"tho < Amorican Civil War; and he began his stago career in America with John Wilkcs Booth, who was brother of Edwin Booth, the famous tragedian, and who assassinated President Lincoln, and was himself shot a few days later. Sir Charles Wyndham's first appearance in London was in 1865.]
