PAINTERS' UNION
The following nominations have been received in connection with the electiuii of officers of the Wellington Painters Union:—President, Messrs. P. Wnllis, G; Ridge, P. O'Niell; vice-president, Messrs. F. Goodwin, P. O'Niell, B. Cassidy; treasMessrs. W. Cooper, B. Ballinger, L. Sjoberg, and E. Cassidy; committee (three required), Messrs. J. -Russell, E. Caesidy, 1 , . Wallis, B. Ballinger, L. Sjoberg, W. Cooper, P. O'Niell, G. Itidge, J. Dockery.. The ballot will take place on January 20. The- union has decided to hold its annual picnic ai Belmont, and a committee has been set up to make the necessary arrangements.
