SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BRITISH GOODS FREED FOR EXPORT Information that is coining to hand from the Department of Overseas Trade, London, throws additional light upon the trade arrangements that the armistice has made possible. The British manufacturers Jhnve been freed from many of the restrictions that were necessary during the war, when the production of munitions arid the conservation of raw materials for tbe use of munition works were the prime considerations. All deliveries of steel for export from the United Kingdom are to continue to be made at prices fixed by the Minister of Munitions. , ~ ■ Steel ■ platesj black, nre among the articles that may be exported to countries within the British Empire. Many articles have been transferred from one export list to another. Goods in' the A list are prohibited from <ex- ! port to any destination, goods in the j B list may not he sent to any destination outeide the British Empire, while goods in List C lire prohibited only to countries neighbouring enemy countries.
