RAILWAY STRIKE IN ENGLAND
GENERAL FALL-OUT ORDERED. (Rec. January 7, 11.15 p.m.) / London, January 6. Owing to the removal of the South Coast Railway Company's.works at Brighton to Lancing, the employees struck, demanding payment for time to and from work. A general strike has been ordered. It is believed that the Crewe and Swindoa railway workers are striking to-day. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
